Find Your Dream Home

IS NOW A GOOD TIME TO BUY OR SELL?  ARE HOMES FOR SALE IN TAMPA BAY A BARGAIN OR OVERPRICED?


Housing has been the primary wealth builder for many generations.  How well your investment pays off has much to do with interest rates and with how long you actually hold the property...actually trying to 'time the market' is often a losing strategy. But there are bubbles and crashes, and it is definitely worth discussing. Call me at 727 224-8918.

HOW MUCH HOME CAN I AFFORD ?

This site  has information on rates, terms and potential lenders.  There is more to a loan than the rate, and I recommend that you speak to one or more lenders personally and ask for a clear explanation of the loan terms.   If you don't have one, let me offer some suggestions.

CAN I SAVE MONEY BY CALLING THE AGENT ON THE SIGN?

If you buy directly through the listing agent, that agent collects both the seller and buyer commissions so normally you save no money.  Meanwhile, you have no agent hired just to look out for YOUR interests. Work with your own licensed real estate agent and call them first about any property you're interested in.  

AS AN AGENT, WHAT WOULD YOU DO TO GET A GOOD DEAL ON A HOUSE OR CONDO?

If I'm not licensed in the area, I would find a good local real estate agent and work with that agent, just as I advise you to do. They will help me get the best possible property at a good price. (Why is that not necessarily the lowest price?)

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM INTERESTED IN A 'FOR SALE BY OWNER' PROPERTY (FSBO)?
